3. SUBMISSION OF CONTRIBUTIONS

The Content Standards set out below apply to any and all material which you contribute to our site and to any interactive services provided on our site, including the member’s pages and comments (“Contribution?).  The Content Standards apply to each part of a Contribution as well as to its whole.  The Content Standards must be complied with in spirit as well as to the letter.  We will determine, in our discretion, whether a Contribution breaches the Content Standards.

A Contribution must:

• Be accurate (where it states facts)
• Be genuinely held (where it states opinions)
• Comply with the law applicable in England and Wales and in any country from which it is posted
• Be relevant

A Contribution must not:

• Be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory
• Promote sexually explicit material
• Promote violence
• Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
• Disclose the name, address, telephone, mobile or fax number, e-mail address or any other personal data in respect of any individual
• Infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person
• Be likely to deceive any person
• Be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety
• Breach any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence
• Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy another person
• Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person
• Give the impression that the Contribution emanates from G.E.T.
• Advocate, promote, incite any third party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act
• Contain any advertising or promote any services or web links to other sites.

5. PROHIBITED USES

You may use our site only for lawful purposes.  You may not use our site:

• In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
• In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
• To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our Content Standards.
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar association (spam).
• To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

You also agree:

• Not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of our site in contravention of the provisions of our terms of website use.
• Not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt:

• Any equipment or network on which our site is stored
• Any software used in the provision of our site; or
• Any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party.

6. BREACH OF THE RULES

When we consider that a breach of the Content Standards has occurred, we may at our discretion take such action as we deem appropriate.  Failure to comply with these Rules constitutes a material breach of the terms of use on which you are permitted to use our site and any interactive services provided on our site, and may result in G.E.T. taking all or any of the following actions:

• Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site, including any interactive service provided on our site
• Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any Contribution already posted on the Forum or any other interactive service provided on our site
• Issue of a warning to you
• Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach
• Further legal action against you
• Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as required by law.
• We exclude liability for all action we may take in response to breaches of these Rules.  The actions described above are not limited and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

7. COMPLAINTS

If you wish to complain about any Contribution posted to the Site or any other interactive service provided on our site, please e-mail using the e-mail address complaints@get.uk.com.  We will then review the Contribution and decide whether it complies with the Content Standards above.  We will deal with any Contribution which, in our opinion, violates the Content Standards as described above.  We will inform you of the outcome of our review within a reasonable time of receiving your complaint.

8. CHANGES TO THESE RULES

We may revise these Rules at any time.  You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we may make, as they are legally binding on you.  Some of the provisions contained in these Rules may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
